The One and Only SockMonkey

Hi everyone,

I tried on Chuck's glasses when he was sleeping last night. I am way too young for bi-focals.

Yesterday I heard (you would  be shocked at some of the things I hear) him and Wanda talking about going to thrift stores today and eating lunch at a place called In and Out, which if you ask me is a silly name for a food place. I like bananas and figs.

You can say I am a fruitarian.

So anyhow back to In and Out.

Like the edible morsels are going to stay in?

Oh, I get it now.

It is a place where people can go to get food in a hurry so they are in and out.

It is not a digestive system statement.

Wanda isn't working today and that means Chuck has a reason to be lazy and skip writing his blog. I think that is ridiculous. Just because she is home doesn't mean he can't close himself off in another part of the house for a few hours and do this, but he won't.

He will wait and see what she is doing and park his ass in her way. This place is going to be a lot of fun when (and if) she ever retires.

Oh, oh, oh....they are going to Portland later this month to visit Younger Daughter Rebecca, Granddaughter Grace and Son-in-law Tim. They are taking the train. I've been on the train before. Chuck and Wanda took me to visit when they lived in Southern California. I didn't meet Grace because it was a few years ago and she wasn't born yet. I don't know if they will take me but I would like to go.

I bet he doesn't write the blog when he is gone.

Some times I feel sorry for Wanda, listen to this.

You may remember Jennifer and Eric gave a K-cup coffee machine to Chuck and Wanda for Christmas.

He has been making all these different concoctions and a few weeks ago brewed a 4 oz. coffee and mixed it with a 10 oz. Chi Tea. He told her he liked it.

"I like this," he said.

About a week later she made one, hated it and poured it out. Wanda thought it tasted like cross between Mississippi flood water and shower run off and she told him so.

"They next time you make one don't waste it, give it to me and I'll drink it," he intelligently said.

This is the kind of thing she puts up with.

Why would she make a drink she hates?

I hear him coming I better go.
