They're only doing what makes them happy? Yesterday I caught a documentary about Real Life Super Hero's on HBO. There are people all over our country who go out mainly at night (and if you saw the costumes you would know why) and "patrol" our city streets. "Beware Evil Doers Everywhere!"
A guy who calls himself, "Mr. Extreme." in San Diego is recruiting. Beside fighting evil he seems to have a proclivity for Busch Beer. If you are interested in joining the Extreme Justice League give him a call. The folks that do this have all types of motives. I'm not going to knock the capes and masks, whatever floats your boat. My favorite was a guy that called himself "Life" or in Hebrew, "Chaim"...pronounced high--eem. He wears an Orthodox Jewish prayer shawl under his dark suit and tie.
I have to give all these people kudos for motivation and doing what they believe in. I also have to give some of them the initials JPN, for Just Palin (should be plain....Freudian slip?) Nuts. If you are interested further you can take a look here.
The following is a terrible commentary on our current society. I was checking some news on the Comcastian Home Page yesterday and saw this lead in:
Teen Shoots 15 Over.....and my first thought was, what now?
I am so tired of reading about kids that go nuts and kill people. I am so tired of lame ass excuses about a terrible parent or childhood or class mate or teacher. I clicked on the link and went to the rest of the story (hey, remember Paul Harvey?)......which was:
A 19 year old Japanese kid shot a 15 over round of golf at the PGA. Apparently he is an up and coming amateur that had a terrible day on the links.
And where are you these days, Tiger Woods?
I really didn't feel up to writing today. I just wanted to finish my book, I'm reading the "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy again. Rebecca and the book series are the two great things the bad spouse gave me.
Getting dressed this morning I wore my Teva shoes with the Velcro fasteners. I couldn't be bothered tying shoelaces...........now that's lazy.
