Every Picture Tells a Story

This will be a quickie.

I have places to go and people to see.

I must tell you about our adventure yesterday.

Wanda and I went to the Launch The Launch Ramp Kiteboarding Event at Riverview Park here in Pittsburg.

This is a marina we never knew existed.

We live five minutes from water.

We don't swim, we don't boat, we don't fish and we certainly don't Kiteboard, but it was fun to watch.

If you don't know the sport, think of surfing on a large snowboard while tethered to a very, very big kite.

Kiteboarding has been around for about fifteen years and most of the contestants didn't look much older. I spent most of the afternoon trying to understand what kept them from being picked up by the wind and carried off to Oz.

They had a "Big Air" contest which I assume meant getting as high as possible and staying airborne for longer than I could hold my breath.

I found myself talking to spectators more than half my age and thinking I should add years to my life.

As if "pushing 70" will make me cooler.

"Ya.....I talked to this old coot on the beach.....

During intermission I went to the podium and shut down the sound system. I may be cool but there is only so much rap I can listen to.

And these new underpants....are a little slice of heaven.

I'd post a picture but they are so soft and body hugging they leave little to the imagination. I don't want you all to require a dose of brain bleach.

Wearing MeUndies is like wearing a comfy cloud.

If I didn't think the underpants would outlive me I would buy several pair. Well that and I can feed Steve the Cat and Sparky the expensive organic grain free food they like for several months on the cost of three pair.

Now the hat is another story.

The hat I don't think I will ever wear.
