Happy Birthday Dad

Today is Chuck's Birthday so he is taking the day off and I get the computer and the blog. Me, Steve the Cat.

If he was writing this he would once again bitch and complain about what a lousy time of year this is to celebrate a milestone...have you ever noticed how mile-stone and mill-stone are almost spelled the same? Yep, he would be writing about busy people, too busy to think of him and getting lousy pj's for his birthday and the robe or slippers for Christmas. Or he'd be writing about celebrating Hanukkah and getting one gift for the entire week because his birthday was in the middle of it.

I just thought of something. I was adopted. I don't even know when my birthday is. I don't think he should be complaining so much.

Chuck and my mom don't have a Christmas tree. Next year I'm going to ask if we can celebrate Hanukkah. Since I'm half-Jewish I think we could light at least four candles.

I wanted to surprise him with a gift today so I went to SockMonkey and BFF but they both just sat there. I swear to God, they're both so stuck on themselves they never want to talk. Then I got together with Dakota and Sparky and we kicked around some ideas.

Of course the usual things came to mind, dead birds, dead mice, dead lizards, dead and crushed up leaves but we thought something more personal would make a better gift.

So, we all peed on his jeans early this morning.

Hey, he left them on the floor.

Happy Birthday Dad.

We all love you.
