A New Baby Grace's Us.

We made it. Another Outside Inn, Nevada City gathering of friends is in the books. A great time was had by all, I only gained two pounds and everyone is booked (with more to join) for next year.

Under normal circumstances I should be working on this week's first regular blog entry but circumstances dictate I deviate from the norm.

Please to the world welcome Grace Anne Williams, 7 lbs. 13 oz. 19 3/4 in. born Monday, June 9th @ 12:18 a.m. to Younger Daughter Rebecca and Husband Tim Williams.

Wanda and I are super excited to be one of Grace's several sets of grandparents. Born into a modern Blended or Step-Family she will have more relatives than the Frobinsons, the eclectic Sprint friends and family group led by a hamster.

I instinctively know Grace will grow-up to be a smart, beautiful, independent woman and an intense Harry Potter fan. I instinctively know her mother will tell her I was born with an 'odd' and 'different' brain cortex. I instinctively know one day Grace will read some of my blog posts that will forever live in cyberspace. I instinctively know that all will understand when I say she sort of looks like an old lady with no teeth.

Grace Anne Williams....I hardly know you but soon I will. I love you now and forever. From your Grandfather Chuck and your Grandma Wanda.

Wanda is off today. We're going to Costco and running errands. I'll return to the blog tomorrow with a Nevada City wrap and more current affairs.
