I remember the first time I skipped school. My best friend at the time and I spent the day with a cousin. When two people pretty much joined at the hip are both out sick the same day, it invites close investigation. All it took was one phone call and we were busted.
This will be a short blog entry, I'm taking a sick day. I will answer the phone, not that anyone calls here, sounding like Elmer Fudd with a sore throat. "Haawhoa, uoooooo's dare?"
Today was my 'monthly go to the doctor for a prescription' appointment and I'm running very late. I am gratified so many people read and enjoy the blog. I don't want to post some half-assed or even full-assed rambling just to have something on the page.
I'll be back Monday.
