Toilets...Number Two.

...and other stuff.

The new Cuisinart coffee bean grinder is terrific. There is a remarkable improvement in the espresso I'm now brewing and drinking. I love the product but wish it wasn't so messy. After I grind the beans every plastic surface, including the grind chamber, has a layer of dust on it. I've tried several fixes but nothing helps. I'm resigned to keeping a damp sponge handy and cleaning up after every use.

The coffee sticking to everything reminded me of Wooly Willy. Last week Wooly Bully and today Wooly Willy. Go ahead, say that five time.

Last Friday I sent an e-mail to Cuisinart customer service. I wrote how much I liked the product and would recommend it even with the static issue. I asked if there was anything I could do or buy (a metal grind chamber) to eliminate or decrease the static that contributed to the mess.

Serial Number :   Description of Inquiry : CBM-18N Conical Burr Mill.....I love this product but can not use it without making a mess..I have grounds everywhere. Is there anything you can suggest? Different grind chamber etc.?

I guess I should have been a tad more descriptive.

Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Do you have the grind chamber lid on?

DO I HAVE THE GRIND CHAMBER LID ON?

Damn it! I never thought of that. Isn't the lid of a container designed to keep contents inside? Another point, if the grind chamber lid is not on the grinder does not operate. I'm going to send another inquiry today. This is going to be fun.

A sign of the times?

I read some exciting news yesterday.

"Self-described neurotics tend to have the lowest levels of a bio-marker for inflammation and chronic disease, a new study from the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York found."....Hooray for me.

And now, the rest of the story.

Two guys walk into a bathroom.....
Use some of the paper it'll be fine.....
Is a little privacy too much to ask?
