They call it Cyber Monday.....

I have been missing the blog and wanted to stop in with a little update.

Wanda is off today. Her boss and wife are on a cruise. When they are gone the office hours are a little different, she goes in tomorrow.

Since I last posted we have had a Thanksgiving day unlike any other. A "Lord Of The Rings" marathon on Encore. A day of baking zucchini bread and a whole lot of housecleaning. I was part of Thanksgiving day and the movies. As for the rest, I can not take any credit. Wanda has been a baking, cleaning, rearranging human dynamo these last few days.

I have been watching movies and football and eating and reading, pretty much what I do when it isn't a holiday week end.

We just retrieved our Christmas lights from the top shelf of the hall closet. Over the last three years we replaced the old lights with LED multi color, blue, red and white bulbs. We have thirteen strands, approximately two hundred and fifty feet of lights. All of these can be linked together, plugged into one timer and we notice only a slight rise in our electric bill. The colors are vibrant as well.

Last year at this time I was helping my brother in Michigan. I returned home just before Christmas so the house was pretty stark. This year we hope to make up for it.

I have lots of notes over the last few days and will get caught up tomorrow. As it is, have a Happy Cyber Monday. I'm back to watching Wanda clean the house.
