The tree people will be here Friday morning so bye-bye weird tree.
And, speaking of weird......I'm not sure what message this person is trying to convey. This was taken in the lovely little city Wanda toils in every day. I would love to know if the officer was able to keep a straight face when writing her a ticket.
"Excuse me lady, are you aware you're not wearing a top?" (she is wearing a bikini bottom)
Occupy? No thanks, especially if people are going to be walking around naked.
I protested the war back in the day. I am not apathetic about the occupy demonstrations, I have no idea what they are trying to accomplish. I've heard it may have something to do with greedy bankers and greedy wall street workers. Sure, like something is going to change.
In the news today, an article that Newt......what the Hell kind of a name is Newt? Gingrich, and what an appropriate name that is: Ging-RICH, received 1.5 million dollars when he was a consultant for the federally backed housing agency Freddie Mac. He was not in politics at the time he was earring thirty thousand dollars a month.
Sure, like something is going to change.
W.C. Fields in the movie "The Bank Dick" talking to the bartender of The Black Pussycat. "Was I in here yesterday and did I spend a twenty dollar bill? "Yes" said the bartender. Fields, "Oh, thank goodness, I thought I lost it."
Money, it's all a matter of perspective.
I was a good house husband today and went to Safeway for a few things. Wanda and I are really missing the local Farmers Market. I did pick up a lettuce some carrots and fruit so we will comparison eat tonight. I think pasta and salads are on the menu.
Have you ever had a juicer? I would guess the two most purchased and not used kitchen item are, juicers and bread makers. We still have our bread maker. Up until I couldn't stand looking at the scale I was using it. There is nothing like waking to the smell of home made bread. There is nothing like slathering butter and fresh jam on home made bread. There is nothing like screaming at the top of your lungs when you eat too much home made bread and need larger pants, again.
One of these days I'll again use the bread maker for rolls, or pizza dough, or maybe even a loaf of bread. It sits waiting patiently in the pantry. The juicer, it's long gone.
The reason I mention this is Younger Daughter Rebecca and husband Tim recently bought a juicer. Now they are like all new "juice people." Every day trying a new fruit combination. Not minding the cost or the mess, just drinking the yummy juice. But, juicer beware, too much of a good thing will keep you close to home......they don't tell you that in the instruction book.
