A long day

It's just 9:20 but feels like midnight. I think I'm going to call it a night very soon. The chicken pot pie was really good and I kept the portion down as they are loaded with fat and calories.

I was talking about Vernor's Ginger Ale yesterday. A small bottle of that has 52 grams of sugar. Soda (or pop) one sugar habit we don't have at home.

Fred did pretty well this evening. The "expert" ostomy nurse, Carol was here around 4 and put a new appliance on him. She does know lots of tricks and had several tips on the care and maintenance of it that should help. She also ordered the correct size and style for his anatomy, that will also help. I am slightly apprehensive however. The last thing she said when walking out of the room, "See you Friday, And, I don't guarantee my work," I sure hope we can both get a full nights sleep.

Cherry pie and ice cream for dessert. I have my alarm set for tomorrow I hope it's as good a day as today.
