A Northern Flicker Visits and Other News of the Day

A British poet who gained international attention with a poem about his small penis is throwing a party in London to celebrate "tiny todgers" and "mini members."

Ant Smith, whose poem about his penis, "Crooked Little Finger," earned him international attention, said the "Big Small Penis" party in London is aimed at celebrating "wee willies" and encouraging men not to give in to "body shaming."

"This multimedia comedy cabaret extravagance will cure all ills, set society on a better path and bring to us world peace, or maybe not, but it will prove that life's just too short to be hung up on the little things."

Smith said women will be allowed in with a donation and men will be admitted for the price of $0.77 per claimed inch of penis.

Thailand's Ministry of Public Health said teens are promoting the spread of sexually transmitted diseases by buying condoms that are too big for their penises.

A spokesman for the ministry said teenagers in the country often spring for the larger-sized condoms to avoid being mocked by their friends for having "a small one."

The Health Ministry said it will spend a total $1.95 million to distribute 43 million 'regular fit' condoms this year.

An Oscar Mayer Weinermobile slid off an icy road and slammed into a pole in East Pennsboro Township, Pa.

No one was injured in the crash, but the sausage-shaped Weinermobile suffered major damage to its front fender and windshield.

Shoppers gawked as a man and woman began having sex in public according to police and witnesses.

The two had reportedly just met on a trolley before rolling around and kissing on the ground in front of a Christina's dress shop in Chula VistaCalif.

Stunned shoppers gathered to watch, and after 15 minutes the man had stripped bare atop the woman, who at that point was nude except for a skirt.

"Her legs were in the air and the guy was on top," said witness Christy Peterson. "We were so shocked our mouths were just opened so I decided to record the incident. Want to see the video?"

The woman was given a citation, but officers handcuffed the man and took him away. The two reportedly were unaware of each other's names.

A 115-year-old woman believed to be Europe's oldest living person said eating raw eggs helped her become a super-centenarian.

She said her doctor recommended she eat three raw eggs a day to counter her anemia when she was a teenager, and she has kept up with the recommendation -- amounting to roughly 100,000 eggs in her lifetime.

Morano said long life runs in her family; one of her sisters lived to the age of 102 and the other died just short of 100.

She is listed as the fifth-oldest living person in the world by the Gerontology Research Group.

She also said part of her secret to long life was staying single after her first marriage ended in 1938.

And in Wisconsin a 92-year-old motorist lost control of his van in a parking lot and drove into 10 vehicles.

The elderly man became confused while pulling out of his parking spot at the Piggly Wiggly in Mayville and he stepped on the gas, striking several cars in front of him.

The security camera footage shows the man reverse, striking cars behind him, before heading toward the exit of the lot, striking two more vehicles along the way.

No injuries were reported from the crash.

Police Chief Christopher MacNeill said the 92-year-old man told officers he panicked behind the wheel.

The man, whose name was not released, is cooperating with officers and is not expected to be charged with any crime.

In California police are searching for the "bra bandit" -- a man recorded stealing clothes from a pickup truck while wearing a skirt and two bras.

Security camera footage from outside a Coachella home recorded a man, dubbed the "bra bandit," wearing a skirt, a bra on his head and another bra on his chest while walking past the home.

Police said the clothing items, change and cleaning supplies were taken from the unlocked truck.

He was also seen on the video trying to scare a cat on the front porch of the home.

Authorities in Florida said a couple who took a nap in a dumpster after a drunken night at a casino nearly met their end in the back of a garbage truck.

Hillsborough County garbage truck driver Radames Valazquez called 911 to report a man and a woman were trapped in the back of his truck.

Valazquez said he was about to compact his truck's load when he heard the couple shouting for help.

"I got two people, I don't know how they got in the back of the truck, but they stuck in the truck. I almost killed both of them," he told the 911 dispatcher.

Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies said they determined Donald Jordan, 37, and Lisa Sirabella, 49, had fallen asleep in a WaWa gas station dumpster after a drunken night at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino.

Jordan, who authorities said appeared highly intoxicated, told deputies he and Sirabella were visiting Tampa from Kissimmee and sought warmth in the dumpster after being left stranded by some friends.

Jordan and Sirabella, who both complained of back pain after their ride in the garbage truck, were taken to a local hospital.
