Today would be a good day to retire this blog.
Last week Wanda and I sailed along the California coast on the beautiful Grand Princess.
It's a good thing geography is not a subject I need to know exceptionally well. We were in Baja California, Mexico, and I don't know why. I mean I know WHY we were there. I don't know why it is called Baja California, Mexico. Our only out of country stop was Ensenada. I was pleasantly surprised and would love to go there again.
Today would be a good day to retire this blog.
I haven't posted anything in over a week and it is an anniversary of sorts.
Three years ago yesterday I wrote the first of 633 posts. Three years ago yesterday I was in Michigan for the first day of what became two months of caring for my brother. I honestly believe if not for a cousin's intervention and my care he wouldn't have had an extra two years of life. He died one year ago next month.
My brother's estate was settled two weeks ago. Wanda and I will go on a cruise as were his wishes for our 'inheritance.'
To say our coastal cruise was nice would be a gross understatement. We had a wonderful week. We did more nothing than we have ever done before. We stopped in four ports and had two full days at sea. Wanda and I finished several books, took naps, took walks and saw some sights.
Because of our status with Princess, we each get 150 free Internet minutes. I took my Kindle Fire. Trying to access my Comcast e-mail, Facebook, or my cruise buddies message boards was frustrating at best. Internet at sea is slow and using the Android operating system made me crazy. Next time I'll take the Kindle and my 10" Acer.
I need to catch on last week's news and gossip. The day we left I saw an article about a Toilet Themed Restaurant. I also want to look into underpants that sooth sore muscles and the guy in Texas who was hit by lightning, twice. I have pictures to edit and notes to read. I have cruise stories to tell.
I'm not ready to retire the blog just yet.
As always, thanks for reading this and come back tomorrow.
