The dentist and his wife are cruising around Australia which means a short work week and shorter hours for my wonderful wife.
I have too much blog fodder to waste on a short entry today. Tomorrow I'll write with a vengeance.
We went to Costco this morning for some much needed staples. On the way out Wanda said. "It used to be you could sort of count on one dollar an item. Now it's ten."
Costco shopping carts are much larger than the 'regular' grocery store. That is understandable as they want you to cram it full of goodies. Two bags of Stacey's Pita Chips, Two packages ravioli's, blackberries, apples, avocados, a pineapple, eye drops, water, Splenda and cat food.....$125. We also filled up RAVA2E at $3.91 a gallon. I shudder to think of all the working young people with a couple of kids.
Oh, almost forgot, we picked up a brand new Lazy Boy recliner at St.Vincent De Paul, for $120. Later today I'll use the eye drops, sit in the chair, and eat some fruit.
