What I am going to do today is answer your questions.
Mary: The windows do not open. I don't think there are any that do. As for what they overlook, it really depends on where you are. When out to sea you are looking out at the passing scenery, if any, and the water. The morning we docked in Skagway, Alaska it was still very early and very dark. I wasn't even aware we had stopped. Still wearing my pj's I opened the window curtains and about ten yards directly across from me was a dock worker. I'm so glad for him I was dressed. That evening when we left port the tide had come in and we were well above the dock.
Here are a couple of pictures taken through the window.
Now, I'm not sure if it's Fee or Michael? Since "Bloody Hell" is an English expression (don't get mad I heard it in the Harry Potter movies) and Fee is in Scotland, I'm guessing she posted but was signed in as her husband, Michael.
That being the case, at least in my mind, Hi Fee.
Honestly, you do not need to help inflate my ego on every post you read. Every other one will be more than adequate.
You wrote you are a Podiatrist and hate running late. I would think your patients have trouble running at all.
Just this morning Wanda and I were grocery shopping. The pharmacy I go to is in the store and opens at 9 AM. I had two prescriptions with me. Not critical they get in today but we were there. At 9:05 I was waiting for the pharmacy to open and Wanda was putting the groceries in the car. At 9:10 the gelato was melting and I was still waiting. I left before they opened. I should probably switch to another place but I've been going here for years.
HEY, NINE O'CLOCK IS NINE O'CLOCK.
Susan.....sorry to repeat myself. Tell Alan there really is total flexibility on the ships. You NEVER need follow a schedule for anything you do not want to do. There are many options for everything you need or can think of.
Of course, on port days, if you have an excursion planned you need to be somewhere at a certain time, that makes sense. Later in the week I will post an example of the daily activities. One of these days you really need to get on a cruise ship.
So, for me, that's it for now.
