Ghoul's and Goblins, Zombies and Ghosts

Last night we watched "The Simpson's" for the first time in years. I laughed so hard I couldn't catch my breath, it felt great. It was the shows XXII Halloween Special. Homer was searching through the Halloween decor and got a spider bite. Paralyzed from the venom, only able to move his eyes, the family strapped him upright on a hand truck (dolly). Daughter Lisa discovered Homer could fart at will. She created a cypher for letters and he was able to communicate by passing gas.

They also did a satire of the movie "Avatar." I would recommend the film if only to make the Simpson's episode more enjoyable.

Watching a commercial for a car that parks itself Wanda wondered if you still had to tip at valet parking.

I have lots to do today getting the house ready for the goblins tonight. A few years ago we discovered how much easier the trick or treating goes when we sit outside. We have a nice area right next to the garage that has a park bench and that's where we'll sit. I am putting this promise in writing, only one piece of candy for me tonight. That's one piece of each type, just so you know.

Last Saturday was the end of our local Farmers Market until next spring. The bakery was there and so was our Cherry Pie. I wasn't feeling well, a reaction to the flu shot I got Friday. Knowing I wouldn't enjoy it we put the pie in the freezer.

It's been calling me all morning...."Chuck, Chuck.....eat me, eat me!"

I have to go, have a safe and Happy Halloween.
