Really, just what did we do to have all this luck?

I got yelled at yesterday. I mentioned the beautiful weather and a friend in Michigan got upset. Right now the thing on my home page reads 78 degrees. Eleven days in a row we had chilly, rainy weather. The heat was on in the house every day. It was 70 in the house last night. By eleven this morning the A.C. was on in the car. One day of this and we are already bitching about how hot it is.

This guy came to visit from next door a few years ago. I've written about the house, it's a rental. It's a small house, three bedrooms, one bathroom, no air conditioning. The house has been empty for a month. There are a half a gazillion empty homes in this area. Half of those are rentals. It's our luck, in just one month, it has new tenants. Wanda and I were hoping it would be empty for the next ten years or so. Yes, we were being nosey, we were watching them unload a truck. When the kiddy tricycle came out we both began to weep.

I know we are "putting the cart before the horse" and  these folks may be very quiet and very nice. They also may be loud, obnoxious, beer drinking, loud music playing ass holes. I'm betting on the later.

I was thinking about names the other day. Farley is one I bet you don't hear very often.

You need to know some back ground. Wanda and I are both big, big, big fans of the "Lord Of The Rings" books and films. While I am at it, "Harry Potter" and everything out of the Pixar Studio. Oh, and lots of the animated Dreamworks. We also like "Wallace & Grommet."
One of the main characters in the LOTR films is Arwen (pronounced Rr-Win..sort of). Liv Tyler is the actress that brings the Elf Princess to life.

We're sitting around one evening and see that Steven Tyler (wow, this guy is nine months older than I am) is going to be a judge on American Idol. I want you all to know we haven't watched that since the Carrie Underwood season. I'm not knocking it mind you. I know lots of people like the show, so, if you watch it it's fine with me. Just because I would rather watch a good.........sorry I got carried away.  I didn't know anything about Steven Tyler so I asked Wanda.

I said, "Who is that guy?"
She said, Arwen's dad." and
I heard, "Arrow in his head."

She said, "I'm sorry you have such a headache."
He heard, "I'm sorry you are so pathetic."
