Once again, it's Trash Day Thursday. This week even more than watching the garbage, excuse me, ecological reapportionment, truck I am looking toward tomorrow. This has been a very difficult week. Neither Wanda nor I have had a decent nights sleep. We're sure looking forward to the week end and hopefully we'll catch up some.
I don't watch the news and I don't read the paper. I usually skip the stories behind the headlines on our homepage. I could make some bull up about why I choose to do this, I guess. The truth is, I just don't care. I don't care about 99% of the things that are never going to make a bit of difference to me. I remember reading, or seeing, something about how the news is presented to us. It's fear. I'm sure you know all this but in case you don't, or you need a quick refresher, it's fear. When some news station starts broadcasting the Happy News of the Day I'll tune in.

I was planning on writing a very funny, interesting and informative blog today, I didn't.
Sometime this morning a friend wrote that the Princess Alaska cruise schedule was out for 2012. A number of us had been talking about getting together for a cruise in September of next year. I checked out the information on line and found a wonderful price on a really large cabin sailing September 15, 2012. You may think it's nuts to plan something that far in advance but, why not. We had some deposit money on hold and have a whole lot of time to change our minds, which we won't. If we are very lucky we will be here and healthy in 548 days. It's going to get here, with, or without us.
