It's a good thing Wanda paints.

I have heard an expression, "opening a can of worms." This morning we opened the can, a large barrel, the worms, hooks, and the fish they might have caught. Or, you could say we are in the process of having a barrel full of monkeys fun.

Has it been two weeks since we bought the new TV? I think, either that or one week. It matters not because it's currently residing in the spare "computer room", on the floor, not operational.

We have a free thirty day Netflix trial, got our first movie the other day, watched it last night. The Russel Crow, "Robin Hood." we liked the movie and were blown away by the Blu Ray presentation. This morning we took the TV and all the components down.

The day we brought the TV home we realized it was like putting a silk purse on a pig. We had an old cabinet for the 32" which was OK but now needed something nice. Something that was worthy of holding this magnificent television. Wanda found a beautiful piece at Scandinavian Design. We picked it up last Saturday. It's in the box, in the garage.

Hey, hey, we're painting. It seemed a shame to put this nice new furniture in the family room and not spruce it up. We painted about four or five years ago.

So we have been washing walls, patching holes, sanding the patches, and as Wanda just said, "stinking." We actually got almost all the prep work finished today. Tonight we will head over to Home Depot for the paint and other supplies and start painting tomorrow,

I'll take a couple "before" pictures. The "after" pictures will be much more meaningful that way.

By the way. Wanda said  the colors are baked scone with an accent wall that is pomegranate. I think they're red and gray.
