Good Morning
I overslept this morning. I try to get here around 8 but ran a tad late. Funny how getting away from a routine can mess things up.
I got to the hospital around 9, found Fred in his new room and promptly left as he was working with Physical Therapy.
Adele.....would you please call mother and let her know about the move. I did call her but at the time was not sure of the following information.
His new room is, 3812. The direct phone number is 1-248-898-3812. I told Fred you all were keeping up with him and would like to talk. He said he was up to phone calls. So, call.....I'll be here all day (got to run in and out, you know, Starbucks) and will be able to answer phone. We will need to see how is doing if when the phone rings.
He actually sounds like a real person this morning. PT had him doing some exercises and he is now sitting up in the chair. I 'm sure getting off those strong pain meds really helped. I spoke with the Physical Therapist about his getting out of confinement (going home). I know those of you coming Thanksgiving would like to know. At this time they don't have any idea. It depends on him, how much he can do, and when he can do it.
That's about it for now, Fred continues to improve and work on his strength. I think the idea of food has got him going.
